But if you have no ambition, then you probably can ignore Argus on alts. From Sept. I don't know if I will manage all characters and specs (cannot run the scenario every time when it's up), but having gear of about 920 makes some difference, especially if you don't raid and thus don't have tier bonuses. The main reason why I want to get my alts geared are the mage tower challenges. Some of these tokens have even warforged. Most of my alts have still not set foot on Argus because of that (also, new followers are a huge drain on resources if you don't play a character much).Īnd you get BoA 880 gear tokens randomly from rares and such, which is also OK for gear up alts a bit, just like the new PvP gear you sometimes get in warden tower / other PvP world quests. However, as things stand, my alts' followers are able to complete the 1.5k quests more often than not, and class hall resources are plentiful since I just did the class mounts. In case of missions, I would probably even advise you not to go to Argus on alts, since you will get spammed by new missions with less success chance and will take forever to get upgrades if you don't progress there much. The only thing that would interest me so far, as quikbunny and others pointed out, is the ilvl925 gear for followers. I'm not in a rush with the reputation, or with the rare mounts, pets and toys. My alts can stay ilvl850 for the rest of the expansion, so no gearing matter here. But I'd raise them just to have them all maxed out, not necessarily including Argus recipes.
